here you go:
add an inch to your stride (hamstring stretches) = takes a tenth of a second off your 40 time
parallel squat is the key to speed

start: (kind of hard to explain)
dominant foot back
correspondind hand forward, on the ground, weight on index middle and thumb
nondominant foot just up and to the side of your back foot
corresponding hand to nondominant foot is up in the air, when you start this hand is going to rip forward as quickly as possible and that will get you going
butt up
head down

form:
arms at 90 degrees
reach forward down the track, do not flex or salute
look straight ahead
everything should be loose
drive knees up, keep toes up
land on toes
forward lean
do not extend arm in back (keep it at 90 degrees)
really rip your arms right by by your hips
the faster your arms go, the faster your legs go

thats it

Run in your neighborhood, do some cardio to get strong legs, do leg weights at the gym and then run an estimate of 40 yds in your neighborhood (not exactly the exact measurement), but run 40 yds every day for a month.
