And why..

And I don't want to hear all the three time crap.

Two time heavyweight champ is respectable, if it means you got stripped of your crown and regained it. But what does losing it and regaining it prove besides the fact that you weren't good enough to win at least one night.

BTW.. My top 3 are
1) Marciano...unbeaten
2) Louis...defended for like 11 years
3) Clay...strong and fast. beat many tough opponents.

Pound for pound - Leonard

Granted, he was a great boxing champ. But the guy evaded the draft and was invariably a 'loudmouth'. Why is this guy getting so much adulation? Is it deserved?

What was he saying when he was taunting him? Was it just "Get up!!?"

Probably.
Let's examine his situation: he's done two prison stints - one for rape, one for assault and he's probably headed for a third for possession.
He's now apparently addicted to hard drugs and the hangers on that made up his entourage are all long gone.
What was once the 'most dangerous man on the planet' has now been reduced to a talk show punch-line and a walking, breathing episode of the Springer show, who is hundreds of millions of dollars in debt with no way to pay it back.
We're talking about someone who was already emotionally fragile. I just don't see a good ending for Mike Tyson.
I believe that he'll be dead within five years, maybe even by his own hand.
An American tragedy.

Great slavic boxers fight and are appreciated in mma....
1. Fedor
2. Mirko
3. Igor Vovchanchyn
4. Kharitonov
5. Zentsov
6. Alexsander E
.....

It is so good that mma fans appreciate who the true "thugs" and badasses are. Obvously Oleg, Wladimir, and Valuev are not appreciated in this country because many boxing fans are racially motivated. This is why many people claim HW boxing is dead, but they are wrong. It is alive and well amongst the slavic brotherhood....Who else is happy mma is taking over and why?

I believe that LaMotta was one of the greatest as far as having an iron jaw along with Marvin Hagler. Sugar Ray Robinson was certainly very tough and Ali proved to be quite a tough guy too.

Rank the top five boxers by whom are the best of all time, and tell us why they made the list and why they are the best and what made them better then the others on the list

Heres Mine
1)Rocky Marciano
2)Muhammad Ali
3)George Foreman
4)Lenox Lewis
5)Mike Tyson

1) Rocky "is" the real italian stallion. Every professional boxing match he had ended with a victory, he was never defeated. Also he was from Brockton Mass, which is cool cause i live down the street. I know everyone says Ali is the best, but many statistics and fans say Rocky would knock Ali out, I guess will never know, but as far as hands down best goes, hes it.

2)One of the Greats, over coming adversity and being banned, losing his title by a jury and then fighting to get it back. Only losing a few times and fought until he was 39. A real hero in boxing but more in his life and what he did for civil rights, he really was the greatest in that fashion.
