The 7' foot giant Nikolai Valuev vs, the 6'6" Jameel McCline in a battle of some very big dudes! Is Valuev the real thing or will Mccline expose him as just another paper champion? I hear that this fight is in Switzerland and will not be shown on U.S. tv.

I heard that Floyd Sr. wants 2 mil for him to be Oscar's trainer for the upcoming May 5th showdown against Jr. and he is saying he won't train him for a penny less. Oscar has reportedly offered Sr. 500,000 and said 2 mil is out of the question. Do you think this is Floyd Sr's way of trying to get out of having to train someone to fight his son? Should Oscar just start looking for another trainer or should he give Sr. his asking price. Jack Mosley has offered to be Oscar's trainer.

He was the greatest boxer ever, yeah marciano went undefeated but he never had the competition that Ali faced. He faught for something he believed in as a muslim and follower of malcom x he sought a path that was nonviolent, yeah so boxing is beating up a guy but its not killing him. Ali has a legacy of respect and hope and understanding. with his fame he taught people about respect and understanding. Ali was and is a great man and should be respected by all.

The man was a draft dodger. What is it about him that people like so much? ESPN had story after story about him today (his 65th birthday). I can't see why people have put him on such a pedostool. If he had gone in the draft, like everyone else was require to, then I could see why people love him.

I'm just thinking that I would rather be in ring with Bruce Lee, rather than Mike Tyson. It seems to me that Boxers are more aggressive and massive, while karate fighters are more tactical and quick. I think I could handle a 360 degree kick to face from a 150 lb man better than an upper jab from a 250 lb man. Any fighters out there, please enlighten me on this matter.

How good was he? Was he the greatest?

Unfortunately I am too young to remember him, apart from him appearing on Parkinson. Did he appear on many chat shows in the states?

I believe at one time he was one of the most hated men in America. If this is true, why?

I know rocky is a fictional character, but if he was real and they had fought each other at their peak, who would have won?

For those reading this in the UK, was one of Ali’s fights in the 70’s shown live in the middle of the night?

Thanks
