Yes and no My brother and I both were great street fighters I went on to become a good boxer armature and pro my brother would not train so he was a very average boxer you have to live boxing not as a thing to do but a desire to be the very best and be willing to make every sacrifice nessary to reach your goal like hitch inking 50 miles one way every day for 2 years to train and giving up the only way of life I knew which was all bad drugs bad people who I called friends I will say this street fights don,t last more than a minute boxing 3 minutes each round with a person that is not afraid of you at all and is not going to go down when when you hit him with your best shot I say do it because your going to learn how to respect people boxing has a way of doing that

No, as a boxer you need endurance training so you can last up to 12 rounds. Street fights generally don't last as long. Your also going to be going against profesionals, not some skinny dude that stepped on your puma's. So your gonna need to know how defend yourself. With a little training and a lot of hard work you might be good enough to be a contender.

not necessarily. In street boxing there aren't many set rules to follow. You cant just make the transition to street fighter to boxer like that. You have to learn the rules, possible hire a trainer to show you the ropes, and you have to have a certain finesse and skill. Not anybody can just come up and be a boxer.

It takes alot to know how to box. You are fighting other people who train to hurt you. All depends on your fighting style too. You may be a better boxer, or you may be good at the ground n pound. Boxing or Mixed martial arts. Both are fun but they take ALOT of commitment and is VERY hard.

Not necessarily...Street Fighters often lack the discipline needed to train hard, study opponents, and also to take criticism from a coach.
