Simple as that, who do you think was the better heavyweight? To make it easier, let's say that both fought each other in their primes.
I gotta go with my man, Clay. Joe Louis had a killer right, but Ali was quick and would've danced circles around Joe.

What should be the future for Hatton, can he regain momentum and should he stay in welterweight or move down to light-welterweight? Is there really any point in a rematch with Mayweather after what happened last time?

I'm a little worried about the sport in the next few years. Right now we have a bunch of great champions who are realtively popular at least in the boxing circle. But a lot of them are in their thirties and should be retiring soon. They include Shane Mosley, Oscar Delahoya, Bernard Hopkins, Winky Wright, Juan Manuel Marquez, Rafael Marquez, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones, Antonio Tarver, Klitschko, Hatton etc Shoot even the younger guys like Pacquaio, Pavilik, Cotto and Taylor have a good chance of retiring in a few years. My question is do you think the young guys that are working there way up the ladder now will be able to fill the void that will eventually come?? Who in particular?? Personally I think not, but time will tell.

Well, Mayweather does run his mouth but what does that have to do with his boxing in the ring? Maybe he is not white enough, lol. I mean if he does fight Cotto you guys are still gonna be hating on him even if he wins. Well, it seems that you more concern about his actions out of the ring than inside of the ring. Well, he is no role model or hero. You guys got issues using the "n" word and all on yahoo. It just shows you are racist instead of boxing fans, lol.

These are the SAME people that'll praise Marvin Hagler for knocking out Hearns (rated at welterweight) & Duran(rated as lightweight). Check this out:

Some people try to discredit B-Hop for his KO wins over Felix & Oscar. They say those guys were to small to be fighting B-Hop. But I think that's a bunch of BULL.

The last time I checked Oscar & Felix MADE weight when they fought B-Hop. When they fought B-Hop they weren't 147 they were 160. So they were MIDDLEWEIGHTS when they fought B-Hop. Saying that they were to small is RIDICULOUS because they MADE weight.

Then they say Oscar & Felix wasn't good at that weight. I say pleassssse.

Tito has 3 KO wins at 160 (W. Joppy, H. Cherifi, R. Mayorga)

Oscar has a win v.s. a good middleweight (F. Sturm)

Oscar & Felix both were vets when they fought B-Hop. I think they knew if they body felt good at that weight or not. At the time of the fight they both SAID they were ready & felt good.

to be continued:

I think a lot of good things happened in boxing this year. There were some great matchups but what will 2007 be remembered for?

It does not necessarily have to be a particular fight.

I am talking about Holmes from 78'-84'. I feel he would rip through the division now more so than he did back then. The fighters now are no comparison 2 the ones Holmes fought in his prime. Opinions please.

I've heard rumors that if Joshua Clottey wins his fight on Dec. 20th, Miguel Cotto wants to give him a title shot on HBO in March. I guess Cotto is frustrated with Floyd Mayweather's refusal to commit to a big money fight for next summer so he's looking to stay active against good competition. You all know that i'm very high on Joshua Clottey and i believe he can beat Cotto. Is this a dangerous fight for Cotto considering that he has bigger fights in the future? There is also talk of a De La Hoya-Cotto fight if the Mayweather fight can't be made.

Do any of you guys think Clottey can beat Cotto?
