promoters like don king and bob arum will always be around as long as organizations like the WBA, WBC, and IBF are in control of the world ratings and sanctioning of world title fights and officiating. we the patrons of the sport have to come together and petition for the elimination of these boxing organizations.

He has helped the sport of Boxing but been hurtfull to the fighters..He also very seldom gets credit for anything good he does.Just like the Republicans the press loves to hate him..

he hurt the business but has helped as well when it is in his best interest some fights would never have been made if it wasn't for him... he just wants to ensure that he continues to make big money and not be excluded from boxing so he makes it difficult for any one or organization to exclude him.... he got good st playing their game
