Wow 2 All time greats!! This would be a Great fight!!! With the greatest Louis Skills Taking the Greatest heart and sheer will 2 win Holyfield to the limit. I have a Holyfield Win by KO mid rounds But Damn this would have been a great fight and I'm not sure that the result wouldn't be the other way around..The REAL DEAL is getting some bad press of late. but his place in history should be in the top 5 Heavies of all time..
After all he surpassed Ali 3 time champ by being the only 4 time Champ..

And i know he is still fighting in his fourties. but when he does retire these things like Ali will be just Footnotes to his fighting spirit.
Should he retire? YES. But was he 1 of the Greatest ?YES
Hell we are talking about a man who won his first world championship in only his 12th pro fight at cruiser weight then went on to be the heavyweight champ 4 times.

What were George Forman and Mike Tyson probably the 2 hardest punchers in the history of the fight game- Lewis, Bowe, 2 of the biggest champs of all time. your statement is unfounded and not well thought.

Joe Louis was a natural heavyweight, and Evander Holyfield was a cruiser weight that moved up.
Louis would be too strong and would win this fight.

He's getting bad press because he's in his mid-forties trying to make a comeback? I wouldn't call that bad press as much as I would telling the turth about Holyfield. He was great at one time- don't get me wrong but he does not know when to quit. He's turing intoself into a has been instead of one of the greats
