I paid for it and i watched it again for free in the early hours of this morning. I don`t care if they show it again for free, it`s not the same as watching it live and personally i think £15 for that sort of entertainment is well worth it.
Anyone who hasn`t seen it yet, look out for the ref who in my opinion and the opinion of the commentators and studio guests, totally ruined the fight. I`m not saying that Hatton would have won if they had had a ref who didn`t keep stopping the fight every time Hatton was getting into Mayweather, or who turned a blind eye to Mayweather using his elbow and turning away constantly (all against the rules!) The worst and most interfering ref i have ever seen.
I`ve paid for loads of boxing, i`ve only ever been to see one live fight at MEN in Manchester - Naseem V Ingle, fantastic atmosphere but hard to see well.

Well to be honest the fact it is shown free is irrelevant to me now its a week old. I think even if it was announced it would be shown on the BBC a week after it wouldn't have stopped people paying for the privilege of watching it live.
What did annoy me was the over hype and false belief that Hatton had a good chance of winning when it really was highly unlikely.

I live in Japan and we could see it for free 30 hours after the live event. So I feel really sorry for BBC; has it come to this?
I didn't use my computer and avoided newspapers and t.v. from 2.00 p.m. on Sunday 9th until the fight was shown at 8.00 p.m. on Monday evening. (Japan local time).
I was so scared the result would be revealed to me somehow, and I wanted to avoid it at all costs.
It was hard enough to do for 30 hours, but for longer than a week???
That sucks.
I suggest you all boycott the Beeb and refuse to pay for t.v. licenses until they give you better service!

I would pay 50 bucks ( excuse me 50 quid) to see a superior American fighter dismantle another overhyped English muffin. OUT
