LOL @ Mayweather "wearing" him down...have you guys seen Williams fight?? He's 6'2", with an 82" reach, throws over 100 punches a round, and always has his highest output in the last two rounds. Margarito didn't wear him down, and he did way more damage then Mayweather could dream of. Williams would mop the floor with Mayweather. The last guy to answer this is the only one who knows what he's talking about.

Well ''pretty boy'' wouldn't be able to run I know that. Williams wingspan goes from turnbuckle to turnbuckle.lol. And his jab is like a piston that reminds me of a young Thomas Hearns. And he throws punches in bunches. So Floyd would have to bring it and not run like a headless chicken. He would probably try to put Williams into a headlock or use his elbows like he did Hatton. Now that PBF is taking off 2 years Williams will only get better and if ''Money'' decides to come back I think Williams would beat him. Knockout I dont know but dec. Yes. Thats my feeling.

Now let the Mayflower fans come out and blast me LOL.

i think paul williams size and length will cause a problem to floyd but williams isnt that strong of a fighter, he throws alot of punches and mayweather will wear him down. Mayweather fights like a college wrestler in terms of leaning. he leans on you when hes on the ropes and he forces you to use your energy on pushing him off while he is resting. the only way to beat him is if williams stands in the middle of the ring and forces mayweather to come to him but mayweather would probably win by stoppage or decision. mayweather put on a show against hatton. Notice something about mayweather is that rds 1-5 hes holding and wears you down by using your energy then he stands in the middle bc hes so fast and when your tired its a wrap.

Williams has the physical size to be the one to beat mayweather, seriously I don't know how much longer he will be able to make 147. Mayweather only has two challengers left of any worthy note.

Williams - his size and punch output are gonna be difficult for anyone at 147 including mayweather.

-and-

Cotto - his power and precision punching are amazing this fight would be a pick-em for me at this point.

no one would "beat down" mayweather. he is too defensive and smart. the reason he beat hatton was because he adjusted when hatton didnt. as for paul williams, it would be a hell of a fight, one that probably wont happen unless williams gains more recognition. mayweather should rightfully be scared of williams, though, but i think in the end he would outsmart him and outpoint him in a decision.
