The thing is, I want to start boxing.

Problem is, everytime I punch a boxing bag my knuckles start to swell. How come they are doing this?

It happens everytime I punch something hard. I know how to punch properly because I have already done boxing for a few months.

I know that Floyd can out box him easily but would that be enough? Does Floyd punch with enough authority to make Cotto think twice about chasing him?

What happens if Cotto never stops coming?

Thoughts?

i have been saying for a long while that Diaz is the best in his weight class and would destroy Joel Casamora or Manny Paquaio if they would fight him...besides antonio margarito no one is ducked more than Juan Diaz.... i been reading all the haters on here who will not give Diaz his props and still think Pac Man can beat him because the media said so...but now that he is getting attention from boxing legends like Emanuel Stewart ( not max kellerman who is an idiot ) and others as being the best young fighter out there i wonder if you guys are going to finally give credit to a real fighter who believe it or not actually fights every round.... i know the media influences the rankings and hyping of fighters from all the posts i have read ..so do you think Juan is Finally getting his credit and is it deserved......

should I buy theese really cute pink boxing gloves I saw, or get the regular black or red ones? Im worried that I wont be taken seriousely at the boxing club, its mostly male, and Im female. th epink ones would be for a good cause though, some of the money will go to the fight against breast cancer. But really wont the guys joke about it at the gym?

Brian Viloria made a statement that he wants to challenge IBF/IBO Flyweight champion Nonito Donaire in the near future. Nonito reacted by saying that Viloria is not at his level. Donaire is coming off a 5th round KO of previously unbeaten Vic Darchinyan. Brian has lost his last two fights and one was a draw. All of Brian's last fights were for the WBC Light Flyweight Championship. Nonito is scheduled to defend his championship in December in Connecticut. For the full video of Donaire's reaction to Viloria's challenge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qefSCDS0qjw What are your thoughts on this? Should this fight happen? I say it should since we could see a battle of Filipinos for a world title.

The knockout was brilliant, but the fight was even up to that point. Personally, I believe Taylor has regressed, but if he learns and follows basic protection rules, doesn't that neutralize Pavlik's basic punch forms?

Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao who watched the lopsided twelve round decision scored by reigning WBC super featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez over a game but outclassed Rocky Juarez says Marquez was “not impressive” although the champion clearly impressed all three judges at the Desert Diamond Casino in Tucson, Arizona yesterday. In a long distance telephone conversation with Viva Sports/Manila Standard Today from his home in General Santos City where he watched the fight, Pacquiao said Marquez was ”slow and had no real power” noting that he couldn’t take out a much smaller Juarez despite catching him with some good right hands in the later round.
If I'm not mistaking didn't Pacquiao say he could knock out marquez before their first fight he knocked him down 3 times, but not out....I think pacquiao is just talking i think he fears Marquez...Guess what I like Pacman too, but i think this fight would be great for boxing as well with Vasquez & R-Marquez 3 same card......

Just got back from the Millenium Stadium and even the tunnel visioned American fans who were picking Kessler must have been impressed with Joes display tonight. I think Kessler fought well in defeat and proved as we all said that whoever lost this fight at worst would be known as the 2nd best SuperMiddleweight in the world and i think he did that. Great fight and on the verge of a masterclass from Calzaghe in my eyes, does anyone else agree.
