Would have truly been a great fight in my opinion. Chandler and Gomez could both box and bang. Gomez was a little more aggressive and probably a better body puncher so I give him a slight edge here. Gomez by split decision.

You know Chandler was a good pressure fighter and would put Gomez on all heals to move and bang and remember Sanchez vs Gomez when he was pressured, but chandler is not a featherweight, but a bantamweight fighter who would have to move up in weight to fight Bazooka. Good fight with knockdowns but I see Gomez with a slight edge due to him being bigger and a little more pop. Gomez by decision.

If Richie Sandoval had the power to drop Chandler, certainly Gomez had the offense and power to find the same spot. Of course this is assuming that this fight is at 122 lbs.

Gomez had great punching power but Chandler had a great chin. I don't think Chandler could put Gomez down but I do think he would outbox him. Chandler win by unanimous decision.

great question. chandler had good boxing skills but he was bland. gomez like pryor and duran had fire in his belly that was unmatched. gomez would be too strong and relentless and would stop chandler in rd. 11.
