i have been saying for a long while that Diaz is the best in his weight class and would destroy Joel Casamora or Manny Paquaio if they would fight him...besides antonio margarito no one is ducked more than Juan Diaz.... i been reading all the haters on here who will not give Diaz his props and still think Pac Man can beat him because the media said so...but now that he is getting attention from boxing legends like Emanuel Stewart ( not max kellerman who is an idiot ) and others as being the best young fighter out there i wonder if you guys are going to finally give credit to a real fighter who believe it or not actually fights every round.... i know the media influences the rankings and hyping of fighters from all the posts i have read ..so do you think Juan is Finally getting his credit and is it deserved......

i think Manny is great warrior but he beat a retiring Barrera who lost like 3 of his last 5 fights b4 Manny ...and morales had lost like 3 fights already and was already declining badly b4 his bouts with Manny ...i think Marquez and Diaz are almost equal and both would tear up the 135 to 140 division but i give the edge to Diaz because of the way he has been winning his fights ..... and diaz has never really been tested by quality opponents , he just walks thru everyones punch and destroys you with an onslaught of punches that takes all the fight out of his opponents... lets not forget he is only about 23 years old and his best days are still to come...Diaz rules all lol

Personally, I know how good Juan Diaz is, but to the average fan they may need to see him against a marquee name before they realize how good he is. So, basically after just answering the question, I don't think the public sees him as a true champ, yet. I guess another fighter will have to be a victim of Diaz before he is recognized.

constructive, a good fighter with remarkable circulation and an excellent jab can furnish Diaz difficulty, despite the fact that this isn't any difficulty-free artwork. the element that differentiates Juan Diaz from maximum tension combatants is that his punches are quite demanding. Now he does not seem to have one-punch KO power, yet in assessment to a guy like...say...Kassim Ouma, Diaz's 5, six and 7 punch combinations are ordinarily power pictures, no longer jabs and mushy crosses (even nonetheless technically those count style as power pictures). Diaz's tension is between the main extra special issues in boxing precise now. He works the physique and head ALL combat long and punches in bunches. As plenty actual fatigue as his tension reasons, i think of the psychological fatigue his combatants go through is possibly much greater because of the fact they could't relax for even a 2nd.

I think Baby Bull would eventually wear down Pacman. There is no way pacman hits harder than freitas and the weight difference would show in pacman's speed and power. Plus as has been evident in the few fights where pacman has been forced to back up, he is horrible and susceptible to a beating from a bigger volume puncher like diaz. I can bet that if and when pacman moves up it will be with David Diaz and not Juan. Roach already stated that. Smart move. I like pacquiao, but some of these people sound exactly like tha nuthuggers that thought Jones Jr., Tyson, and Chavez were indestructable before they were soundly beaten to a pulp.

Diaz is a great fighter and I also agree that he hasn't got the respect that he deserves. And I also agree with him beating Casamayor. As far as him beating Manny??? I doubt that. I think it'll be a great fight but I see Manny winning in the last couple of rounds. I think you're the one not giving Manny the respect he deserves by saying he will get destroyed. The last time I saw Manny fight, he dominated Barrera and layed out Morales!! Not to mention his great bout against Marquez. Last time I seen Diaz fight he beat Julio Diaz and Freitas??? I think Marquez will ko those two guys by the 8th Rnd. Now what do you think Manny will do?

Whos ducking Margarito? Margarito is nobody, he beat Cintron and thats it. The money he offered PBF was less that PBF got for fighting Baldomir who was the recognized champion. So why would he fight Margarito?
Joel Casamayor just screwed himself out of a big fight by putting on an amazingly boring performance and losing in a fight that everyone saw. He wont be getting a shot at any big fights after that fiasco.
Max Kellerman is far from an idiot when it comes to boxing knowledge.
Recently Paq said he would fight Juan because he will get more money then fighting Marquez. This could be a PR stunt to get Marquez to agree to a lower purse or he may really want to fight Diaz. Though we havnt seen Diaz really tested, i think his work rate and naturally bigger size could break Paq down. I have never liked the way Paq fights when he goes backwards. His defense is suspect and his footwork going backwards or sideways is very suspect. He also likes to step into his punches which he cant do going backwards. Paqs power is very reliant on having room to step into punches (especially his cross) which Diaz's style can naturally negate. Juan is the true champ at 135 no doubt. But i rather see Paq fight the winner of Guzman or Soto. Guzman is hella fun to watch, Soto is like Paqman, a guy who lost early in his career but is now waiting for a chance to fight a big named fighter.

I think the public has a hard time seeing Casamayor as "the champion" at lightweight, especially after his HORRIBLE performance on Saturday. I think now people will see that Juan Diaz is THE lightweight champ, at least I do. I agree he would man-handle Casamayor. I think he would Pacquiao, but he wont "destroy" him.
