I'll have to agree with "Claret" on "Max Baer" looking funny in there and a weird style. But there was also a middle weight back in the same day's named "Maxy Rosenbloom". They called him "Slappsy-Maxy", no-kidding, because when he fought, he didn't throw your regular punch, he "Slapped the other guy's. Some of them would even laugh at him he was fighting. And also, at least one-time in every-single-round, he'd trip over his own feet, sometimes even falling down. I mean this guy has to be one of the "All-Time-Jokes" of the Boxing game. If you can find an old film of him, you'll really get a kick out of it. funny as hell. He was a Middle Weight if I'm not mistaken. He was even ranked in the top 10, but of course never won the title. you should have seen ole "Slappsy" in action. really get a good laugh out of that you would. First of all learn English. The Prince was a loser and where is he now? He just pumped my gas at a Chevron off the New Jersey Turnpike exit 7. Tyson had an unorthodox style of fight. He used a lot of head movement and upper body movement. He also would throw a right hook to the body then a right hand uppercut. I haven't really seen anyone else do that and he did it with profound results. This is early Tyson, not later old Tyson.

Roy Jones Jr., I think, had the strangest style for a "best-ever" fighter (before he met Antonio Tarver). And you'd have to mention Muhammad Ali too. Clay/Ali was very unorthodox for his day - hands down, backing up straight back to avoid punches, continual movement side-to-side in the heavyweight class. But Jones and Ali could back up their styles, so maybe everyone else is wrong.
The Prince is a very entertaining fighter with an unusual style too. I hope he comes back okay after his long layoff.

Herol Graham was the guy who style of fighting was copied by most of the fighters that come out of the Brendan Ingle camp. Not only did Nassem Hamed copy his unorthadox style of fighting but also Johnny Nelson and Junior Witter. None of them did it as well as him though, if he had only had more of a punch he would have undoubtedly been a world champion. Also Kirkland Lang used a really unusual boxing style at times.

Nah, I wont give Prince Nasim that kind of nod. He reminds me of guys fighting on the basketball court. He wasnt unorthodox, he was flat out resistant to training. He didnt have discipline. He wasnt exciting, he was stupid. He also couldnt fight above B level. Remember the first A level fighter he fought was Marco Barrera, and it was also the last.
BAR NONE, the most awkward style fighter I would have to say I have seen is Chris Byrd. I have no idea how he doesnt have osteoporosis with his back being contorted to dodge punches the way he does. Its also his undoing because in order to do that he can never set his feet well enough to throw a punch that is worth ducking. He may as well tie pillows to his hands.

Sam "king" Solimon. He's pretty much the only boxer that makes me laugh when I see him box. He throws many punches in bunches all in bizzare and akward angles that he almost looks like an amatuer messing around and yet he gives his opponents a bad beating and embarrasses most of his opponents by winning. Watch the fight with him and Winky Wright, he throws over a 1,000 wild and wide punches and smiles when he's at his corner like its a big joke. He gave Winky a much harder time than when Winky fought Trinidad. Solimon was in the Contender show.

Carlos "El Apóstol" Maussa. Not only is his style weird. His body type and face are a bit out of the norm as well. Finding video to prove my point is a little difficult. But if you search hard enough you might be able to find one. Or if you know a Boxing Aficionado. Just ask!

Michael Nunn, who had a very effective style in which he held his hands low and danced around at the start of a match, not even trying to punch, just getting his opponent to wear himself out missing.
