Floyd Mayweather Jr's Boxing and fighting skills are head and shoulders better than all the rest of the people on your list.
And oh yes he would beat Cotto silly if they ever fought!
Cotto still has a weak chin, and they won't be able to fix the fight against Mayweather. Cotto/Mosely fight was fixed in favor of Cotto- Shane hurt him twice badly and let him off the hook.................................. The boxing powers that be want to see Cotto get murdered by Mayweather- it's the biggest money fight!

I'm gonna go with julio cesar chavez jr., antonio margarito, and miquel cotto. i personally like strong body punchers, and these guys go to the body a lot. Also they have a style like the fighters from the past.

your top 9 did it for me. But I enjoy watching Cotto the most because he is not afraid to get hit and go toe to toe due to the fact that he delivers body shots like boxers of the past. Williams and Cintron also is enjoyable because they throw many punches. Hatton is not scared to fight anyone even though he is undefeated and he fights toe to toe so its fun watching him. Mayweather is fun to watch because nobody can touch him and I'm just waiting for that one person to actually give him a beating. Margarito has powerful hands and he can knockout opponents early and throw punches in bunches. Chavez jr. can box and still can knock oppnents down. Zab is fun to watch because he's unpredictable.

As far as excitement, I would have to go with either Miguel Cotto with Paul Williams closely following. At times I do enjoy watching a defensive mastermind, which would have to go to Mayweather.

I'd say Cotto vs Mayweather becasue they are both undefeated, and good fighters, and their diffrent fighting style will make a diffrence, if they go at it ONE of dem will have 1 lose in there carrer
