This might come as a shock to you but he's a welterweight and at 147lbs there just aren't that many big people. Nor are there that many big people at 154lbs. and you'll never see him go up to 160 to fight somebody like Jermaine Taylor, it would be suicide. At his age he's matured to be as big as he's naturally gonna be, the reality is his hand speed an natural skill at the sport rank right up there with anyone who's ever stepped into the ring. He just doesn't really have an equal in his generation it's not that there haven't been capable fighters he's just that good. It's kind of like Roy Jones, he never really had a peer until he got old and came down to everybody else's level.

Yeah, dude you answered your own question in the question. He has fought guys capable of winning, just not against him obviously, as he is undefeated. So how do you find a fighter capable of beating the best in the game right now?? and who would be the best match up? You seem like one of those idiots who say "oh, Baldomir will beat this guy senseless, as he is bigger and stronger." Then what happens? Mayweather dissects him, pretty much pitching a perfect game against him. Then you say "Mayweather hasn't fought anybody that's any good."
You are an idiot sir, if you cant accept mayweather as the best pound for pound fighter in the game right now, you have no right to an opinion. Get a hero and stop trying to tear this guy down.
Do you want him to fight up at cruiserweight? What does this guy have to do to get you naysayers off of him? you are obviously boxing illiterate and need to watch the baldomir fight, the Gatti fight, and then come back and ask, "why was i such an idiot?"
The simple fact is that they were both bigger and stronger than him. do some research. If he was as over rated as you think he is, wouldnt somebody have knocked him down by now? the only time he has been "down" is when he hurt his hand so bad he dragged it on the canvas. Thats right, as a pro, he has never been ligitimately knocked down.
Its obvious nobody is at his level, he is fighting above his natural weight, and still beating everybody who comes near him.

Put it this way genius - Jose Luis Castillo and Diego Corralles fought a war that no one will ever forget. Both are naturally bigger than Mayweather.
Mayweather drilled them both.

diego corrales was supposed to be the one who could beat mayweather at super featherweight and corrales ended up getting knocked down 5 times and then finally his corner stopped it. here is a highlight of it :http://youtube.com/watch?v=h7y7kWCuZ4g
