Rank the top five boxers by whom are the best of all time, and tell us why they made the list and why they are the best and what made them better then the others on the list

Heres Mine
1)Rocky Marciano
2)Muhammad Ali
3)George Foreman
4)Lenox Lewis
5)Mike Tyson

1) Rocky "is" the real italian stallion. Every professional boxing match he had ended with a victory, he was never defeated. Also he was from Brockton Mass, which is cool cause i live down the street. I know everyone says Ali is the best, but many statistics and fans say Rocky would knock Ali out, I guess will never know, but as far as hands down best goes, hes it.

2)One of the Greats, over coming adversity and being banned, losing his title by a jury and then fighting to get it back. Only losing a few times and fought until he was 39. A real hero in boxing but more in his life and what he did for civil rights, he really was the greatest in that fashion.

3)Forget Tyson, Foreman is the real iron man. 81 professional fights...let me say that again.....81 pro fights, 76 ended in a victory. An amazing athlete and role model and excellent business man. He can kill with a smile.

4)Lennox only lost two fights and defeated some of the last fighters whom ever matter in boxing like Tyson and Holyfield. He had a great pro career and got out early on top of the world, what a smart young immortal athlete.

5)Tyson knocked out more men then horse tranquilizers in the 80's and 90's. Although his personal life and late 90 career sucked, it doesnt change that he was the best and probably the last best boxer to leave, to bad he killed what was left of his career, he should have been much higher up the list

1. Muhammad Ali- Because of how long he stayed around, and how he changed boxing showing us power and speed.
2. Rocky Marciano- Before Ali, he was what the mold for a heavywheight was. The only heavyweight to go undeafeated throughout his career.
3. Mike Tyson- The youngest title holder ever. He was a combination of Ali and Marciano. Displaying raw power and lighting quick speed. He won 19 by ko in either the first or second round. His only flaw was not having the right people around him.
4. George Foreman- Some say that he hit harder than Tyson. After he lost to Ali he basically quit only to come back 20 years later to take back the title from Micheal Moorer. he even gave Holyfeild some fits.
5. Lennox Lewis- He was alright but you could put alot of people in front of him. Fraiser, Holyfeild, Liston...pick one

MUHAMMAD ALI, ROCKY MARCIANO, MIKE TYSON,GEORGE FOREMAN.

Muhammad Ali fought more harder apponents than any other, but Rocky most likely would not be KO by any of this fighters. Tyson I think was the #1 elite fighter untill he had problems with the law, he probably could of been the best of all time but thats what makes him different from Ali and Rocky these two no matter what. came back, they let nobody stay in there way to be the best. Foreman was great to. I left out Lenox because he fought no one at there best, I think any of these fighters would of beat him in the first round.

My top 5. I'm not sure if i could really pick a top 5 Sugar Ray Robinson definetly should be in there though. I don't see Marciano being in my top 5 simply because he didn't really fight anyone. Yes he was undefeated but he never really fought anyone good enough to prove his worth. He did fight Joe Louis thats true, but he fought an old washed up Joe Louis. Archie Moore. Pshhhhhh. Rocky is good but definetly not my top 5. Mike Tyson i don't see being in my top 5 for the same reason. In his prime yes he was amazing, but there is so many better boxers.

Sugar Ray Robinson was the greatest boxer to ever walk the planet in any weight class.... look at the record, he won something like 95 straight fights!!
# 2 would be Joe Louis.... easily the best heavyweight ever...
#3 Rocky Marciano ...... to this day the only undefeated champion ....
#4 Jack Dempsey..... the forgotten champ, perhaps the toughest man to ever lace up the gloves. as a kid, he used to fight mine workers and bar patrons for money.... and rarely lost these fights to grown men.
#5 Big George Foreman..... hardest hitter, and the fact he won the title in his forties pushes him ahead of Ali and Frazier.
