I believe that LaMotta was one of the greatest as far as having an iron jaw along with Marvin Hagler. Sugar Ray Robinson was certainly very tough and Ali proved to be quite a tough guy too.

George Chuvalo. He was never knocked down. By anybody.

Muhammad Ali played a punching bag for many big tough guys while doing the rope-a-dope just waiting to set them up.

Jake Lamotta's face, by the end of his career, was nothing more than a massive contusion from eating so much leather.

Jimmy Braddock, Scott Ledoux, Joe Bugner, Chuck Wepner, George Foreman, Arthuro Gatti, Mickey Ward, and a ton of others all proved they were able to play a human punching bag when need be.

Joe Frazier, and especially Ali. In the last part of his career when his reflexes and speed were completely gone, which basically rendered him into taking all the punishment his opponent had to offer, Ali showed he still had a one hell of a jaw.

Ever heard of Rocky Marciano (sic)? Understand he looked worst after the fight than many of the losers, while remaining undefeated as heavyweight champ. Years ago, a computer simulation of all the great heavyweights had Rocky defeating Ali for champ of all-time.
Otherwise, I've NEVER seen any fighters take a punch more than Rocky Balboa!!!!!!!!!!!! Including Joe Palooka.
