Probably.
Let's examine his situation: he's done two prison stints - one for rape, one for assault and he's probably headed for a third for possession.
He's now apparently addicted to hard drugs and the hangers on that made up his entourage are all long gone.
What was once the 'most dangerous man on the planet' has now been reduced to a talk show punch-line and a walking, breathing episode of the Springer show, who is hundreds of millions of dollars in debt with no way to pay it back.
We're talking about someone who was already emotionally fragile. I just don't see a good ending for Mike Tyson.
I believe that he'll be dead within five years, maybe even by his own hand.
An American tragedy.

Brad, as you said in a previous answer, he may end up like Liston. Tragic? Yes. Do I feel sorry for him? No. The man made dumb decisions at key moments in his life. I feel he is aware of that fact. He is most likely beating himself up mentally for those decisions. He has many inner demons.

Sorry but correct me if I'm wrong, didn't Iron Mike die in Japan about 14 to 16 years ago???? This shell of a human/boxer named Mike Tyson we have now is nothing but a sad caricature and clown.

You're right. The Tyson story is a tragic one indeed. But it's never to late, especially with God, to turn your life around. I volunteer with my church at some of the prisons and homeless shelters in Atlanta, and i've seen people come back from the depths of hell. Drug addicts, gang bangers, prostitutes, i've seen them all turn their lives around with Christ. Mike just needs to get the right type of people around him. Hangers on only care about your money, and once that's gone, they have no more use for you, as he found out. If he can get himself some drug counseling and get into a good church, he can pull himself up. But he has to want to get the help that he needs. So never say never because only God truly knows when our time is up. I do understand what you're saying though because he's on a self-destructive path. Let's hope he gets off that path and gets himself together.

No. As Billy Joel once said......"Only The Good Die Young". He'll probably live till he's 90.
