If your son wants to participate in "the sweet science" he has to pay his dues. Take him down to the local boxing gym and learn to box from a trainer. As for armature boxers wanting to fight not to box, look at the most well know of professional boxers Mike Tyson, He is a fighter not a boxer, so your son is going to have to learn to deal with theses types of fights. As he moves up the reighns in ciruts he will meet more "boxers" and less "fighters." Unfortunately there is no "express elevator" to the top you got to (excuse the bad pun) take you licks like the rest of 'um.

The other option, go to a college with a boxing program, see if the coach there only takes experienced boxers, or is willing to train them.

Your son needs to train and participate as an amateur before he even thinks about fighting pro. Amateur boxing is where a boxer hones his/her skills and learns the basics. A good amateur coach will not allow "fighting" but, instead, will help his boxers learn the art and technique of Olympic-style boxing. Most decent pro boxing commissions won't let a fighter become licensed without some good amateur experience. You can email me at mel@amateurboxing.com, tell me what city and state you are in, and I will give you a contact for amateur boxing in your area.

do some research. see if there is a local PAL (Police Athletic League), or Boys Club in your area. When I boxed, we were our own team, and sponsors throughout the community would donate to us so we could buy equipment and go to smokers and tournaments, and etc. By the way, it was free. I'm sure the times have changed by now, but sometimes the city parks and recreation would also be a good place to start. tell your son good luck, and let me know if you need anymore assistance.

the least puzzling way could be to purchase a three.5" exterior USBcontinual case. there's a hyperlink under with some on the marketplace online for greater or less $20, yet you may get one out of your community electronics keep. purely make usre it fairly is a three.5" USB case (not 2.5" or SATA). fairly common to do. do away with your stressfulcontinual from the lifeless computing device and positioned it interior the exterior case. Plug interior the potential twine and connect the USB twine to a solid computing device. it is going to now act like an somewhat vast thumbcontinual. you may get right of entry to all of the archives at thecontinual. in case you do not % an exterior case and perhaps save slightly $, the 2d hyperlink under is for an IDE to USB converter cable... perfomrs the comparable function without the case. (and makes you seem greater like a tech geek once you wip it out).

Thats easy, just smack him about the head every night for about half an hour and he can have all the brain damage of boxing without any of that tiresome leaving the house buying expensive equipment nonsense. Good luck!
