Watching the NBA over the last couple of years, i have grown to hate flopping. BUT, I also notice if the guy DOESN'T flop, there is no OFFENSIVE FOUL. And also, players have realized that if they just run into a defender, they will get a bocking foul for a player trying to stay in front of him. So Lebron and Kobe and Wade are just driving to the hoop whether people are defending them or not and they get blocking fouls. Defenders realizing this start flopping but they are the only ones that get burned by fans and the media. Are they supposed to let them dribble by trying to avoid contact as ball handlers are trying to plow THROUGFH them? And if you were a PF and a SG runs into you and you stand your ground will they call a charge? NOPE cause you didnt flop, do referees swallow their whistles or do we T up floppers?

He is a underrated 20-10 lowpost scorer, seems like if they had him at PF and Oden at Center, they would be stacked in the lowpost.....So whats the deal with all this trade talk?

they can pick Conley with their 3rd pick, then someone else later
or
The can pick someone else with the 3rd pick, and pick up Acie Law later

A healthy Wade carved up this same Pistons team last year that LeBron is struggling to score 18 points against. And, other than an aging Shaq, his supporting cast really wasn't that much better than LeBron's now. One player simply knows how to elevate his team and carry it on his shoulders to glory while the other gets confused by double teams and, basically, chokes when the game is on the line. LeBron looks like a block of wood right now compared to last year's Wade.

I was just wondering why the NBA and the NHL have a draft lottery for their top picks and the NFL and MLB do not. Why didn the NBA and NHL change to a lottery format a few years ago?

Do you enjoy watching ‘Old-School’ NBA, meaning 1960s to early 1990’s, more than Today’s NBA? Especially the NBA’s Golden Age, 1980’s to early 1990’s?

Let’s reminisce…

Do you prefer the ‘Old-School’ Superstars, such as Dr. J, Iceman, Air Jordan, Showtime, Human Highlight Reel etc., over Kobe, T-Mac, Carter, Iverson and LeBron?

Do you favour the bitter ‘Old-School’ rivalries of the past, like the Celtics-Lakers, Bulls-Pistons and Jordan-Isiah, better than any rivalry today?

Do you like the dynasties of the past like the Celtics, Bulls? Today there are Umm… No dynasties anymore.

Why?

Is it because ‘Old-School’ players played for glory, honor and respect rather than money? Is it because they are more fundamentally-sound, skill-wise? Is it because they understood that basketball was a team sport?

Don't answer this and say Oden because he is younger. Look at Lebron and D.Wade. They both have been in the same amount of time and Wade has done better to me before Shaq got there. A health Wade is UNSTOPPABLE

I think they should go after Durant, He's ready to come in and contribute. The starters would be (When Durant is ready.) I'd give it Midseason.
PG - D.Dickau
SG - B.Roy
SF - K.Durant
PF - Z.Randolph
C - J.Magloire
They are in the west so being bigger is better. Off the bench you got Aldridge and Przybilla they don't need another big.

Is it wrong for me to hate detroit for:

1) beating my Lakers in the 2004 NBA Finals and denying Karl Malone his last chance at a title?
2) twice in a row lucked out and beat the Cavs 79-76 both games?
3) seem to look down on all other Eastern Conference teams?
4) won't make rasheed wallace patch up that gapping hole in the back of his head?

Yeah let's admit it Boston tanked up their games just to secure possible cornerstones, Oden and Durant, on their team. But now that backed fired and they seem to be getting what they deserve by having the fifth pick, should the Celts start rebuilding the team by trading Paul Pierce and adding additional good pieces? Good explaination would get the best answer... So try to convince me with your arguments.
