Both. Kansas City is a large city and they would have no problem filling the stadiums. Plus, what else is there to do in Kansas City?

Nothing will thrive in Kansas (pro team). its too small of a market to pay so much money to players to play there. They wont be able to afford them and make a profit. Only college (jayhawks) can survive.

Neither, they couldn't support IHL hockey they're not a hockey town. Basketball would have to compete with all the KC schools, who own the town (see Charlotte Bobcats as example).
