I'm going to have to go with Sam Bowie, not because he sucked as bad as some others but because he was drafted before Michael Jordan, and, well, look at Bowie and then Jordan and you'll know that Portland made a mistake

shawn bradley-u cant teach height for sure...but the guy had no game, heart or work ethic.

and sam bowie might have been a bust...but did anyone think michael jordan was gonna be as great a player as he was?

and since i'm talking about mj...how about the mj clones who have been busts: harold miner, dennis hopsen and jerry stackhouse (he's had a decent career...but when ur drafted #3 and compared to mj and ur biggest accomplishment is 6th man of the year...hes a bust IMO

Sam Bowie. In response to the answer that anyone before Jordan was a bust, I remind them of Akeem Olajuwon. Granted, he got his two rings when Jordan was taking his league mandated hiatus for gambling, but he is one of the top 5 centers of all time. Michael Olowakandi also comes to mind as a rather notable bust.

It;s ahrd to argue with the first answer. Anyone drafted bfore Jordan was pretty much doomed to be a bust by comparison.

Darko Milicic, as a number 2 pick he has done nothing. Besides he gives off a weird Bert vibe (same with Okur)!
