It's nearer than such a lot men and women might feel. The Dream Team used to be America's first authentic athletes within the Olympics, so the opposite nations have been sick-all set. Their legacy is extraordinary, however the athleticism of in these days can virtually fit the 1992 Team. So I'd nonetheless say the Dream Team is great, however The Redeem Team and 1996 Dream Team have been near.

Like many sports, if you are really good at defense, you can often make the team and then continue to work on your offense. Don't worry about dunking and concentrate on the abilites you already have and how to best put them to use. Sounds like your vertical is pretty good and that is always a benefit - might surprise guys who think they can just shoot over you.

Costant practice is needed. Join a team that will have to practice mosty of the time until you will be perfect then join the world team of basketball players.

Work on your dribbling and shooting and just the fundementals of basketball. During tryouts, no one will care if you can dunk or not, and if you try everyone will think you are showing showing-off. PRACTICE. PRACTICE. PRACTICE.

depends on which position u play. i think all positions need a jumpshot. u got to b a playmaker...a great passer who creates opportunities for other players. u got to be aggressive on rebounds and box out. u hav to hav decent ball handling skills. u gotta show ur dedicated and not just be dedicated. u must prove that ur as good as anyone else and u hav to always b willing to practice
