400 players on its roster, what excatly happens?? do they pick out 80 current scrubs from the league and toss em out and replace em with the hew drafts??? because this practice seems unfair. you have to give evryone a chance to shine. for some players that might take a few years, and weeding them out before they get the chance to shine, for new draft picks is attrocious practice. i say have the NBA draft once in five years. what say you??

When they won it all in 2004, the Pistons decided to let O'neal have his points and shut everyone else down, and OMG!!! it worked, they made the mighty Lakers look like an NBDL team.

So what is stopping them from doing the same thing to Lebron and the Cavs?

when it comes 2 comparing basketball players 2 Michael Jordan you automaticly think of another person who wheres #23... Lebron James, but i think people are forgetting someone... #8 Kobe Bryant. So who do you think is more compadable 2 Air Jordan himself ...#8 or #23

I have never seen a worse job of reffing as in the Spurs / Jazz game 4. The refs practically handed the Spurs the win. No I'm not a Jazz fan but the refs beat that team. Why aren't the refs held accountable for multiple bad calls? Maybe they should get game suspensions

Im supporting the Jazz as they are the underdogs. The "fantastic four" of Deron Williams, Carlos Boozer, Ak-47 and Derek Fisher will triumph...

Maybe the so-called conspiracy theory by David Stern is to tarnish the image of San Antonio Spurs by getting them calls so it would make them looked a cheap team because somehow Stern is sick and tired that team that draw low rating keeps coming back to the playoffs.

I'm just a fan of a good basketball game and sensing there are something terribly wrong behind these questionable calls. What do y'all think?

I ask you this because it seems like being an overrated and underrated basketball player both have its advantages. Overrated seems like an insult, while being called underrated seems like a compliment. Although being called overrated shows that you already have a high status in the NBA.

Both hours of WWE Raw beat all NBA playoff games last week. An episode of Spongebob and Masked men were ahead of some games too. Spurs will have it handed to them again. They've already been in the 2 lowest watched Finals in history, in '03 and '05. This year could be the lowest. With all that's going on in the NBA, how long before ratings are lower than the WNBA??? Take a look at a few statistics....

Ratings for Regular Season Network games.........

Net. Year Rating
NBC 1996 5.0
NBC 1997 4.7
NBC 1998 4.6
NBC 1999 4.3
NBC 2000 3.3
NBC 2001 3.0
NBC 2002 -
ABC 2003 2.6
ABC 2004 2.4
ABC 2005 2.2
ABC 2006 2.2

NBA All Star game ratings.....

NBC 1996 11.7/20
NBC 1997 11.2/19
NBC 1998 10.6/17
NBC 1999 -Lockout
NBC 2000 6.9/12
NBC 2001 5.1/8
NBC 2002 8.2/15
TNT 2003 6.6/12
TNT 2004 5.1/10

All I keep hearing is that the spurs don't bring in money. Is that true? If so, why don't they? The are one of the best teams, if not the best team in the NBA. Why wouldn't they bring in alot of money? They should be bringing in the most money, what the heck is wrong with their fan base, are they angry?

Okay who thinks Spurs will knock out Jazz in game 5?

2007-05-28 17:33:06 · 12 answers · asked by Anonymous

They had NO REASON to be upset and angry when their dirty, boring, hated team lost to the Suns after Horry slammed Nash into the table. They didn't get screwed!!! They NEVER get screwed. They are David Stern's babies!!!! He takes care of them. Screw the entire NBA.

The Spurs have been in the two lowest rated NBA Finals in HISTORY, and wait until they break the new record this year. I can see it now. Nobody except for 16 year old airhead girls in San Antonio will be watching the Finals.

Home team wins first two. Underdog dominates game 3, and the deeper team with better composure takes game 4. I've loved watching the Jazz through these playoffs, but there is absolutely no way that the Jazz win 3 in a row vs Spurs. Jazz players have finally earned some national respect, while because of a few stupid fans, Jazz fans have lost respect. Spurs deserve the credit for being the better team.

Lets say the refs called the same game but the JAzz would have won I bet the JAzz fans wouldnt be all mad that the refs this and the refs that right? SO just take the lost and TRY to keep up with the SPURS on WED.

Nobody cried or looked for anybody to blame. We accepted the fact that our team played poorly and lost because of it. Why can't other fans behave that way?

Those final calls did very little to change the game! It may have gotten Spurs the free throws, but most of the shots the Jazz had....THEY MISSED! THAT'S what lost them the game! So go rewind your tivo and stop complaining! GO SPURS!

Watching the NBA playoffs, my vote has to go to Ginobili. He runs into people going in the same direction as he's moving and it's like he got hit by a bulldozer. I think Pamela Anderson is a better actor, but somehow the refs fall for it every time.

What do you guys think?
