Basketball - March 2007

Kansas had a bye and so i dont understand y FAMU had to play a game to get into the tourniment when they could have gotten in and played #1 Kansas!!! that makes me mad!!!

For example, on Saturday there was only one Midwest regional game and today (Sunday) there are three. The same holds true for the Eastern region - one game today and 3 yesterday. It is interesting that the NCAA plays the same total number of games on each day, but is not balanced within the regions. Anybody know why? Is it a TV or venue issue?

I picked USC to beat Texas. I just think that their defense can get it done and contain Durant enough and shut down the other players. Am i the only one? What do you guys think? Anybody else pick USC?

After a way above par season and OJ Mayo coming to town for a year, how many think USC will steal UCLA's crown in bball next year and make a run to the final four and beyond next year?
This question is regardless of Sunday's USC v. Texas game, which i expect to be close, but still a UT victory, even though i am a diehard SC fan.

The Charlotte Hornets owner said that the Hornets will never make it to the finals if they stay in Charlotte. Now the Hornets have not made it to the playoffs since departing from Charlotte. Was it the right move.

I personally think they're getting better and better(They're crushing the Suns tonight). I feel bad for who has to play them in the playoffs because they and the Lakers are the most likely to upset the top teams.

i dont watch mutch college hoops but i do have virgina tech making it to elite 8 where they lose to UCLA. ive seen them play a few times and think they are very talented. everyone seems to disagree with me though about VT making it that far. some people even said they wouldnt even make it past the first round (which we all know they did). so what do you think about their chances making a good run in the tournament?

i've been checking out a lot of brackets by people and noticed that almost all of them had winthrop winning the first game. even though they were an 11 going against a 6 i dont think i saw one bracket with winthrop losing in the first round. is it just because they matchup well with the other team or just are better ?
