I picked USC to beat Texas. I just think that their defense can get it done and contain Durant enough and shut down the other players. Am i the only one? What do you guys think? Anybody else pick USC?

to say that texas is a one man team is dumb
they have abrams and augustin who are both good guards
and besides texas has gone up against some of the best defenses in the country and still scored alot of points

nicely what do you assume. TEXAS has a group of inexperienced persons taking section in and do not play protection at the same time as USC performs protection. protective minded coaches like Ben Howland & Tim Floyd oftentimes win the game. USC has a magnificent chance to disenchanted North Carolina on Friday. If USC can hit that's 3's and play sturdy protection, it will be a cake walk back.

I do have USC advancing, but not because of their defense. It's because of how many guys they have on their team that are capable of simply inhuman shooting streaks. Being a Pac 10 fan (WSU; tough loss today!) I've seen a lot of USC's games and I've been awed, at one point or another in the season, by the shooting touches of Gabe Pruitt, Nick Young, and Lodrick Stewart (who I actually saw play high school ball, kinda cool). If they do win this game, I can all but guarantee one of those three will have an absolutely cold-blooded shooting stretch. And I think it's going to happen. Kevin Durant's great, but he doesn't have much of a supporting cast, and what supporting cast there is is about as young as he is. USC is the more rounded team, at least offensively, and I see them advancing.
