Coach K's prodigy fell through on the delivery of NCAA invitations, so who do the fans want to have come in?

Just curious after reading this quote from the news article:
"""Michigan's basketball opening is going to be a highly sought-after job," he said. "I want to move as quickly as I can, but some of the coaches we might be interested in are still coaching in the NCAA tournament."

still coaching in the tournament.........that field is getting pretty narrow right now.

I would not expect a big name coach. After reading the article(link below), Michigan's AD doesn't seem to want to support the basketball team like they used to, but says will still be a highly sought after job

Do agree Amaker flopped, especially in the Big 10, but whoever comes in next won't be going into a awful situation, but it just isn't enough to compel a big name coach.

Steve Fisher, who won a Championship with the Michigan Squad about 17 years ago, I was in 4Th grade and remember. I am a grad student at San Diego State where Fisher is currently the coach, and State is in the NIT, still alive and kicking, but in the wrong tournament. The Aztecs won the conference and the conf. championship last year, and have 23 wins this year so far. I hope this helps.
