I'd actually say Andrea Bargnani.
This has been a down year for the rookies. However Bargnani has put up some pretty good numbers for Toronto. I'm not saying he made them a playoff team. But look at all the other draft picks who are not playing on playoff teams. Toronto is one of the only teams to turn it around this year. It is in part thanks to Bargnani's shooting, spreading the floor.

I totally agree with you Randy Foye deserves it and he is one of my favorite players because he played for Nova! In 4 years the NBA rookie of the year will be Scottie Reynolds, but now it's Randy Foye.

I think it is going to Brandon Roy, who has been having a great rookie year with the TrailBlazers. Everyone thought he was the most polished athlete coming out of college and he has proven that in the NBA. A close second would be the number one overall pick, Andrea Bargiani of the Toronto Raptors. This guy will remind you of Dirk Nowitzki in a few years.

barngani just because of no one seeing him play college. Foye is great but we all saw him in college and know his potential. No one knew what Barngani could do. I think he is better then foye.

There exists a possibility that Andrea Bargnani or Jorge Garbajosa could emerge as a winner for the rookie of the year
