Who would of pinch-hitted for Aaron Rowand with Albert Pujols in the bottom of the 9th with the bases loaded in the all star game?

Is anyone else as pissed off as me that Tony "The Bath House" La Russa didn't pitch hit Pujols in the bottom of the 9th in the All-Star Game?

"Well let's see we've lost 9 straight All-Star Games, we're playing for home field advantage in the WS, it's the bottom of the 9th with two down, I'm down one run, and there's two runners on. I suppose I could let the greatest hitter of our generation take a cut or two.....nah **** it, lets let Orlando Hudson defensive specialist extrodinar swing for shallow right in what could have been the greatest All-Star at bat in history, second only too,...... the next at bat with the bases loaded, when Aaron "My Batting Stance Killed Princess Diana" Rowand was allowed to leave his mark on history by being the first player in history to fly out with a gerbal up his ***.
Holy **** Pujols should have been hitting in that spot, Tony LaRussa should be ***** slapped!!

As I understand it, a suspended game is to be resumed with the same score, inning, batter, and count it had when it was suspended. But what happens if some of the players are no longer available, e.g., injured or traded?

Or what about players who had played in the suspended game but were taken out via a pitching change or pinch hitter, etc. I suppose they're still unavailable when the game resumes. But what if they were since traded. Obviously they're even more unavailable, but since they're not even on the team anymore, must the manager designate a replacement unavailable player to fill in for the unavailable player and not play, or does the manager have the possible advantage of using new players who weren't on the team back when the game was suspended?

Convoluted scenario, I know, but I was wondering.

he doesnt even put in the best player in the game
and lets rowand and hudson hit
he should have let pujols pinch hit for derek lee because pujols has one of the greatest chances to hit a home run and win the game
another loss for the NL
just because the cardinals wont be in the world series
hes gotta mess it up for everyone else

why didnt larussa put pujos in when the bases were loaded?! i was really dissappointed because that could of been really classic... k rod vs pujos with the bases loaded instead we saw k rod vs aron rowand.... was pujos injured or something? it had nothing to do with the positions because there were 2 outs.. it was a win or lose situation....

Trying to come up with an estimate of total throws, globally, since the invention of the baseball. This question refers to baseballs only, no softballs or other similar balls. I would like to try and get an estimate of an answer. I realize there is NO WAY to know the correct one.

Since alot of pitchers and hitters were doing steroids prior to 1999 and Bonds wasn't, doesn't that mean we should adjust Bond's stats, including his home run totals, up?

This time, I guess it is so, it can be held in Yankee Stadium in its last year in 2008.

But do any baseball experts know what was the reason in 1953 (Cincinnati) after 1952 (Philadelphia) ?
