They play in St. Petersburg, in the dumbest facility in the major leagues. A real ballpark in Tampa, across the bay, might help. Better yet, move them to a real city, one that doesn't have a major league team, like Montreal, or Buffalo, or Baltimore. When did Baltimore last have big-league ball, around 1997, wasn't it?

If the Rays are going to have any fan support in the future they need to get out of Tropicana field. It has to be one of the worst ball parks in MLB today. I believe a move to downtown Tampa would solidify the team with the area and it would be just what they need to move forward with the good young players they have.

Yes, and that's where I am from. It's all politics but St. Pete really is to blame. The team should be in Tampa, end of story. St. Pete has the good beaches and Tampa needs to have the sports teams. Nobody wants to go to St. Pete to watch the D-Rays at that (excuse my language) shytty facility across the bridge.

To the first guy: No, they play in St. Petersburg, FL. They play there across the Bay. They need to be in Tampa. I don't understand why MLB allowed it in the first place.
