Think about it...30 teams, 81 road games a season, jets flying to all these locations with the full team on board. Wouldn't you think that one day, an entire MLB team would be completely wiped out? In all the years of baseball, wouldn't you think there'd be a plane crash? Has that ever happened?

every team in every sport has them. but i think baseball gets the most of them because the season is so long and teams can magically do well at any time. im a diehard yanks fan and have been for almost 20 years now so i know what a bandwagon fan looks like

They gave up Randy Johnson in the past too. In my opinion, they should get some slugger to replace Richie Sexton instead. Yankees, who has money, should get Ichiro, by getting rid of Damon.

Bench was the reason i even knew who Rose was.his stats would get him there,but a lifetime ban is just that,.but hear this, when showing my son what it takes to be a true ball player, you can bet your *** Rose was not only talked about,in how he played , but also the responsabilty that goes along with the game and not tarnishing it. we watched tapes of Rose, and i am proud to say i watched my son take a ball four, and run to first base. MR ROSE THAT THERE IS YOUR HALL OF FAME
