I have a game used bat with no team name but the player name of John Edwards. From the looks of the bat this must be from within the last five years. Ever hear of a minor or major league player with this name?
Thanks-

Or is he just stupid? Why would he not let Pujols hit in the ninth inning? It doesn't make any sense. He trusts Hudson, and Rowand over the guy that won him the World Series. May be he did what I did, bet on the AL to win.

I just don't get it...Bonds has no chance of being the all time HR leader within 15 years...A-rod and Ryan Howard will put his number to shame. we should all just stop caring about the number it will be shattered eventually.

Who would be on your all time worst roster?
Jim Hughey would be my starting pitcher. Enzo Hernandez the Short Stop.
Who else?

I work during the day and when I got home, I missed the first three innings. I was thinking may be if they move the Futures Game on a Friday, Home Run Derby on Saturday and then the actual All Star Game Sunday Night. The host city can take advantage of having a full All-Star week leading up to the game on Sunday.

He let a routine bouncer get past him, he didnt just walk into a tag at the plate he slothed, he almost asked politely to be tagged (a little hustle, even a slide would have scored him) and rather than risk an ASG error he just watches a line drive go right past him.
He was no Ichiro.

There have been rumors that Ichiro is about to sign a 5 year 80-100 mill deal and from what I know it was no secret that him and Hargrove never really saw eye to eye. Hargrove just left Seattle because he "lost passion for the game." I watched him manage in Cleveland for years, which i miss dearly, and that man was full of passion. Does anyone see the coincidence in that? Ichiro gets the big contract, Hargrove leaves, sorta a "me or him thing" I have never liked Ichiro and this is just another reason to add to that list.

In both situations, you are hitting the ball with less than 2 outs and you get an RBI for it, but why does a groundout go against your BA, and a SAC fly does not? Makes no sense to me.

In some baseball games, a pitcher will have an H beside his name. What does this stand for?

For Example,

Bench has a .267 carrer batting average Berra has a .285.

Bench had 1,376 R.B.I.'s Berra had 1430.

Bench won two world series Berra won 10.

Bench won two M.V.P.'s Berra won three.

See my point?

Berra by far is better then Bench.

Dont you agree?

I would like to have the Ken Griffey Jr. autograph. That would be a prized possession! Pick your player now.

Nobody doubts Maddux, Clemens, Randy Johnson and Pedro will make on the first ballot. But which one will get the best percentage of votes.

Will any of them pass Tom Seaver as the highest ever?

Maddux. 16 straight seasons and a total of 17 with 15 or more wins. Impecable control, with 3 more seasons averaging 11 wins he will pass Christy Mathewson as the 3rd in victories. 16 Gold Glove awards

Clemens. One of the most durable starters ever. 2 pitching Triple Crowns. 350 victories and counting

Randy Johnson. Probably the most devastating combination of pitches. Highest K/IP ratio ever.

Pedro Martinez. The best winning percentage for somebody with 200 wins and did not play before 1900. Lifetime ERA is only 2.81.
