Jim Hughey would be my starting pitcher. Enzo Hernandez the Short Stop.

If you have no knowledge about baseball (appearently like most from NY and Bos) DONT ANSWER.

Okay, I'll take a shot:
C - Bill Bergen (.170 BA in almost 3,000 at-bats!)
1B - Phil Todt
2B - Ski Melillo
3B - Lee Tannehill
SS - George McBride
LF - Bob Gilks
CF - Jack McGeachy
RF - Dave Hengel
I'm still thinking on who my pitcher would be, but I'm pretty confident that I could lose a lot of games with that lineup.
After some deliberation, I'll go with Jim Walkup as my starter. He was spectacularly awful in the late 1930s.

I'd have to build the team around Shortstop Mario Mendoza of Mendoza line fame. His lifetime average was actually .215 (over the M line), but those 4 lifetime home runs in 9 seasons means he actually shouldn't make eye contact with Alex Rodriguez if they're ever in the same room.

I think that would have to be the red sox or the White sox.
And freddy0904 you are so crazy to say the New York Yankees because they are one of the best teams out there.

Bob Uecker for catcher.....One of the worst of all time.
I have to respond to Craig S choice for catcher. I'm sticking with Uecker as the worse catcher of all time....He not only batted .200 career(mind you not nearly the at bats). He was a mediocre fielder. Bergen is considered one of the top 10 defensive catchers of all time.
