I'd like to see the many, diehard Yankee supporters, the faithful, start backing up their confidence with prohibitively enormous wagers. C'mon, risk those entire family fortunes on the innate triumphal powers of the Bombers. Give odds, at that; you're bound to win, right?
Or is this just the summer of hot air?

Yes they will.There not out of it like a lot people want them to be. I'm a Yankee fan all my life and any who thinkls the yanks are dead in 2007, think twice. The Red Sox, let them have there fun right now. One more thing, A Rod will be a New york Yankee in 2008. See you in October...

Doubt it.
Yankees usually pick up in the second half, but they're not used to being down 10.5 games going into the second half..
It's a psychological effect that will take over soon enough. A-Rod and Jeter (of course) will both have amazing regular seasons, but with nothing to show for it after.

well i hope so and i heard that the Yankee players aren't going to accept 2ND place and as a fan I'm not going to accept 2ND place either plus there first 29 games are teams sub .500 and they need to kick up if they want to make the playoffs

Not a chance. There's have to be too many teams fall apart an that ISN'T going to happen. Maybe if the A.L was the Skankees and Tampa; you might have a chance! You could throw in KC and the White Sux, too!
