Honestly? No. That isn't to degrade Guerrero, only that I think Hank Aaron has often been under-valued. Guerrero has never led the league in any of the big 3 categories (average, HR, RBI), while Aaron did so 10 times (twice for batting average, 4 times each for HR and RBI). Guerrero's numbers overall seem better because he plays in an offensively strong era, while Aaron spent his best years playing in the 1960s, possibly the most pitching-strong decade in the modern era of the game.
The comparison isn't completely off - they are similar in being strong hitters for average while both having power. However, Hank would come out ahead.

Vladimir is a awesome player.
Vladimir is probably just as good as Hammerin Hank.
As a matter of fact Vladimir won the 2007 Homerun Derby.
You're right, Vladimir never haves any record breaking season but always has phenominal seasons like 30 homeruns 100 R.B.I.S. and a over .300 average.
If the Dodgers signed Vladimir they would surley run away with the division title and maybe even the pennat =).
Go Vlad!
(Although Vlad is yet to win a M.V.P. or Gold Glove, but he is the top at his position today.)

He'll have to play injury free for a lot longer to be considered an equal to Hank Aaron, but he has a shot at it.
I wouldn't call Aaron the 2nd best player of all-time either, though he was one of the greatest. Ty Cobb was THE greatest, followed by Ruth, Mays, and maybe then Aaron.

Guerrero is having a great year and has done very well during the first 12 years of his career. Why don't we just hold off for another dozen years and see what kind of numbers come from Guerrero. You are attempting to compare a player today with one of the greatest players of all time and Guerrero has to put up some more great numbers before you compare him to Aaron.

Vlad is a really special player, but he isn't necessarily having a Hank Aaron career. Hank was an extremely special player having a career like his would be almost impossible.

No Schilling? He had 3 jewelry this decade... had a miles extra effective decade than Randy Johnson did... Johnson grow to be extra effective on the commencing up yet Schilling grow to be extra effective average, he's doin it interior the AL east the place Johnson could no longer dangle, in a hitter's ballpark. it particularly is a wicked snub. 3 20+ win seasons, 3 all famous person video games and thrice 2nd in cy youthful balloting. Schilling must be on there, prolly no longer at variety 4 yet he must be on there. Its out of order imo too, yet i'm gonna shop it short right here, those are approximately acceptable on the main dominant participant tho.
