I personally think that Bonds is a detestible piece of cow manure, but, with the shadow that exists over the entire era, it's unfair to celebrate someone such as Cal Ripken Jr. and then snub Bonds. MLB should give Bonds the same courtesy that they would have given Aaron in 1974, and when his time comes for Hall of Fame election, put him in 1st ballott.

That all being said, I think fans of Bonds who believe that he's innocent because he's never tested positive for steroids need to pull their heads out of their butts and look at the facts in the case and player that is Barry Bonds.
1. He admitted using steroids (Cream & Clear) to a grand jury.

2. Look at Bonds Circa 1987 -vs- today. Heads don't grow that big on their own.

3. Players skills decline as they get older, it's not a theory, it's a fact. The fact that he hit 73 HR over 35 years old defies science.

Now... Enjoy the ride Barry, you've played within the rules enough to break the most heralded records of all-time.

Nothing, it's up to him and the Giants. Just play next year so he can get 3,00 hits and retire...
