You have to give to an AL player since they won, and no one else had a clear cut better game. So give it to Ichiro for having two hits, including the first ever inside the park home run.
Had Victor Martinez had a another hit or a great defensive play, he could have been considered since his 8th inning home run was crucial.
But I can live with Ichiro.
