why didnt larussa put pujos in when the bases were loaded?! i was really dissappointed because that could of been really classic... k rod vs pujos with the bases loaded instead we saw k rod vs aron rowand.... was pujos injured or something? it had nothing to do with the positions because there were 2 outs.. it was a win or lose situation....

because he thought that the NL was gonna tie it up, but wanted to save him in case they went into extra innings, and if the pitcher spot came up, he would have another weapon to use instead of having a relief pitcher try to get a hit.

you know francisco rodriguez is on the mound and with his breaking balls, he is going to embarras pujols at the plate...tony didn't want him to go thru that so just let rowand in

Pujols has enough pressure already...with the team struggling, him struggling to find his power stroke, chokin up on yesterday's home run derby, etc etc etc....larussa didn't want his golden boy to take on more pressure if he fails against K-rod (which definitely would've happened with the nasty stuff krod has)

larussa is retarded and so many people will be asking the same question for weeks on end. we will prolly never know the real reason because the media is going to twist this story around to help larussa not look like a retard.
