That was a amazing thing. Great to see him do it because he's such a great all around player.

As far as his name being on the back of his jersey, check out Yao Mings for the Rockets in the NBA. It says Yao, so I don't think it was a mistake as noted by the guy above. It's just part of their language.

It's the first by any player in the history of the MLB All-Star game. Suzuki-san also holds another record. He's the only MLB player with his first name on the back of his game jersey. That's because he submitted the required info to the Mariners' seamstress in typical Japanese fashion: last name followed by first name. Ergo, "Ichiro" instead of "Suzuki".
