he doesnt even put in the best player in the game
and lets rowand and hudson hit
he should have let pujols pinch hit for derek lee because pujols has one of the greatest chances to hit a home run and win the game
another loss for the NL
just because the cardinals wont be in the world series
hes gotta mess it up for everyone else

If you were the manager and pinch hit Pujols for Lee you'd be fired on the spot.

I can see for Hudson or Rowland, but not Lee.

you know francisco rodriguez is on the mound and with his breaking balls, he is going to embarras pujols at the plate...tony didn't want him to go thru that so just let rowand in

Pujols has enough pressure already...with the team struggling, him struggling to find his power stroke, chokin up on yesterday's home run derby, etc etc etc....larussa didn't want his golden boy to take on more pressure if he fails against K-rod (which definitely would've happened with the stuff he has)

which is probably a really good argument for not having the world series home field advantage riding on an exhibition game.

Well Lee struck out anyways so game should have been over. Then you wouldn't be whining!
