Who would root for a bunch of sellouts and mercenaries with no heart like johnny damon or a-rod, anyway. Now if the yankees had actually earned their titles, then people would respect them. It's good that the fact that the yankees haven[t won anything the past six years proves that they are just a bunch of money-grubbing imposters, because it would be a shame if they won and people thought they actually deserved it.

I've heard through the grapevine that his first name is pronounced Dice-kay (the U being silent). So does that mean his last name follows the same rule? Being pronounced Matt-zacka (Matsuzaka) or is it Matt-sue-zaka? Anybody know?

Has an MLB team every had a 6 man rotation, and is it even allowed. The Cubs could have on this year if it was possible. 1Z 2Hill 3Lilly 4Prior 5Miller 6Marquis. Also wouldn't it be a smart thing because pitchers wouldn't be throwing so many innings causing less injuries?

I was given an unopened glass Coca-Cola bottle from the Cardinals 1982 World Series. The score list was printed on the back of the bottle, however the scores were printed incorrectly and before the error was caught a few of these bottles were in circulation before the score change was printed. Would anyone happen to know what the value of this collectors item is? I would like to sell this on eBay where correctly printed bottles from the 1982 World Series sell for $10.00. The bottle is in perfect condition and the labels (both on the front and back) do not have any scratches on them. The metal bottle top is also in perfect condition. The only flaw is a small smudge of ink the size of a pencil eraser in the bottom right hand corner on the back that must have happened when the bottle was labeled since the ink color matches the ink that was used to print the labels on the bottle.
Any help is greatly appricated!

So, with those words I say...thanks Ichiro...you should have left two years ago. Our team does not take things seriously that is what he said, the players do not work as hard as he does in being a baseball player.

One critisism of him is that he is not a "team leader" but I have been taught that action speaks louder than words and his actions have made him what he is...so I think by doing he is leading by example....agree?

I could bet that ever owner of any professional sports team has seen his team compete at home. Somebody local needs to buy the team before they will be ever to compete again.

Could you make an arguement to have any one, or none, capable of stepping into the shoes of the other two?

Who would be the most fluid of the three?...

Or would Johnny Bench (Cincinnati Reds 1967-83) out catch-be able to move the players around and call the pitchers better than any of the mentioned three?
