A Japanese business man that has never stepped inside Safeco field and watched a game.

I could bet that ever owner of any professional sports team has seen his team compete at home. Somebody local needs to buy the team before they will be ever to compete again.

Do you agree?

I agree 100% the owner for the Dodgers Frank McCourt comes to every Dodger game and sits right next to Tomy Lasorda.

It's sad, but true. When an "aggressive offseason" means Miguel Batista, renting Jeff Weaver, the horrible trade for Horacio Ramirez, and the over-the-hill Joses Guillen and Vidro you just have to question the effort. And if history has taught us anything, it's that the Mariners will not make a move at the deadline, even if they're in contention. I blame Bavasi more, but his boss takes a lot of the blame, too.
