We,(my dad and I),used to watch every race that was televised when I grew up.That was in the late 60's and through the 70's. There were people in Nascar that just got their car built right before the race. But they were allowed to try to make name for themself. This is a farce that is put out for people to spend money on. And thats all it's for. Does anybody that watched Yarborough,Allison(both), and Petty battle it out still watch?

You know, the one he was filmed giving to Jamie McMurray?

With the new PC rules, cussing gets fined in NASCAR, and Tony isn't playing nice right now, so I'm concerned.

By the way, even though I'm a Smoke fan and would happily serve as his stress relief toy, I do not think McMurray was at fault (it was simple 'Dega luck).

I am not a big nascar fan but i watched todays race and was wodnering why tony stewart ended at 28th? He wasin 5th when the yellow flag came out so shouldnt the results be froze right there?

Anyone caught throwing crap at Gordon today after he won should be arrested and barred from any more Nascar events. Absolutely rediculous to treat the winner of a race in that fasion. Absolutely pathetic actions from the Alabama rednecks!

Even though Michael Waltrip was faster qualifying than 24 cars that are IN the field for Talladega, because he is not in the top 35 in points, he didn't make the field. Fair or not?

First and foremost I am a Mikey Waltrip fan, make fun of me, bash me whatever.
But seriously he qualifies 20th and misses the race, that is absolutly ridiculous. It appears that if you arent in the top 35 you shouldn't even bother trying to qualify since that just proved you can qualify good and be knocked out. Does anybody agree? And this isn't the first time that he's made it on speed and been knocked out either.

Think both of these guys owe Tony an apology.

I just found out tony got fined 10K(which in nothing when you made 6million in '05) by the way. The only reason he got fined was because he skipped the media at PIR, not because of what he said--What a load of s***!!!!!!

I am a huge smoke fan. I get upset when people talk bad about him. I find nothing wrong with him just speaking his mind. Everyone has been doing it here on yahoo answers. We all know nascar has many problems, smoke just has the balls to come out and say it. Almost everyone on here is talking about his whinning, I just dont see it as whinning, its just freedom of speech, just like all of us get on here. This is bull dookey. Smoke said that Nascar was staging the races and that they were fixed because of the cautions for debris . Now Nascar officials are pissed at Smoke and won't let him unload his car at Dega until he meets with an official in the Nascar hauler. WTF???WTF?? I'm PISSED! If they don't let him race, it's so wrong!!! And I'm not even a Smoke fan, but I may turn into one after this BS!
