Tony speaks his mind.NASCAR does not like this and tries to police not just what the driver(team) says but the way they say it and when they say it.
NASCAR has always had drivers to voice opinion and Tony is the one now.
NASCAR reads what fans write and sometimes they act on this info, other times it is a driver (team) that sounds off and NASCAR listens.Lately the sound off is about the number if caution for debis. But NASCAR is not noticing any difference that they admit to,last year was the number of red flags to set up Green-White-Checker finishes.
Tony is the whipping boy,but whipping boy or not I'll be cheering for him Sunday.
GO JOE GIBBS RACING!

Felix Sabates is a moron, how many cup championships does he have? Oh yeah thats right NONE, all of his drivers he has hired have been the jokes of the sports, the also rans. I gaurentee he wouldnt fire a 2 time champion. he is a total douche, the only reason Montoya is with him is because Gnassi let it happen.
NASCAR needs to be careful with what it does, they are growing and expanding their fan base but if its proven they throw cautions for nothing like Stewart said (i think its completely true) their credibilty will ake a huge hit. Remember if it was all about saftey like they say, Mark Martin wouldve won the Daytona 500, but instead they decided to let the race finish to make the show better and ignore driver saftey. NASCAR is so big about making people follow their rules, maybe they should follow their own rules as well
Stewart is too good for NASCAR, he should move on to ALMS/ endurnace racing full time. NASCAR is becoming a joke and their rise was fast but their fall will be faster and harder.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I COMPLETELY agree with everything you've just stated. Tony Stewart is an amazing driver who deserves more respect than he gets. NASCAR can be such hypocrites, having other drivers like ridiculous Jeff Gordon say rude things about him. Jeff Gordon is one of the most arrogant, mean, and disrespectful drivers out there. He is putting shame upon NASCAR every time he doesn't think before he speaks. I mean, didn't his mommy tell him to have good manners in public? Everybody is always on Tony for being controversial and saying what's on his mind, but then we don't punish Jeff for doing the same thing? Ugh!
Tony has so much passion and determination to win, and he has skill to go with it. These NASCAR officials, car owners, etc should be ashamed! They are making the sport look horrible doing things like that!

People always take things to far Tony should be able to say what ever he wants on HIS!! radio show players in other sports get fined for saying stuff like that but Nascar isn't set up like other sports nascar is owned buy the France family as opposed to the NFL, or MLB.They have players unions. If anybody has the right to fine Tony it is his employer Joe Gibbs

I agree with the first comment. Felix needs to make sure his driver know's what he is doing, and how to race that or give him the kick he needs to go back to Formula 1. Tony is a good racer and a person on and off the track. People like Gordon say stuff like that because a lot of people respect Tony and Gordon wants it all or he will cry like he always does.

Someone has to speak up against NASCAR once in awhile. Otherwise, NASCAR would think nothing is wrong and just keep pulling questionable things like the last race which caused quite a bit of stir from the fans. Gordon fans loved it, every other fan is still scratching their head.
As for Tony? If we have to listen to the duo of Abbott & Costello of NASCAR (Jeff Hammond & Darrell Waltrip) every week and their comments, Tony can keep his opinions coming. Especially on his own talk show.

Tony is an amazing driver and should get more respect. He can't help it that he speaks the way he feels. Nascar shouldn't be able to take away the freedom of speech. Give Tony a break and watch some of the other drivers they talk and nothing happens to them. Go Tony.

I do think that, but.......... I thought it was crap that Nascar "talked" to him on Friday and I'm pissed that he issued an apology for saying what most of us think. Last time I checked this is a free country and if he or anyone else wants to call shenanigans on Nascar, then they should be able to do it and not apologize for it. Nascar does throw cautions for "debree" and 5 out of 10 times the debree is never seen on camera or by a driver. I hate the way Nascar controls sh%t like this, when Brian France wrecked when he was drunk, you didn't see any fines or anything else. Nascar can say all they want, the fine was not for him missing the press conference, it was for the comments that he made on HIS show. Unreal. Be ready y'all, there was alot of wind taken out of his sail, the same way they done Harvick.

Stewart opened his mouth and said what a lot of people are already thinking, now us the fans saying it doesnt really seem to matter much. More drivers need to speak out about these phantom debris cautions, then again the France family reminds me a lot of the Stalin family, when Russians spoke out against Stalin he erased them from everything even having them removed from photographs and all records of their existence were destroyed, the France family if questioned has no problem with taking everything away from you either. It doesnt matter to them if they are wrong and everyone knows it.
As for Jeff and Tony they have a love hate relationship. They love to hate each other, or so it seems.
Heres to hoping Kentucky wins the lawsuit.

Tony doesn't need NASCASR doing that; he is doing a great job of that all by himself. Take for instance Infenion in 2003 when he hit Brian Vickers in the chest while Vickers was still strapped into his car.
Daytona 2006: "Someone is going to get killed out here" Tony said during the Bud Shootout. Eight days later he intentinally runs Matt Kennseth off the track.
2002 a week before Watkins Glen he decked a Reporter.
2006 "These Rookies need to learn about give and take racing" after slamming Clint Bowyer into the wall.
This past tuesday comparing NASCAR to Pro Wrestling.
NASCAR isn't trying to make Tony to be the bad guy; Tony is doing it all by himself; and doing a fantastic job of it.
