Statistics show Dale, Jr would be a favorite. Likewise for Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon. But a dark horse, like Kurt Busch could take the win because he's been sniffing at the win for the last while at Dega.

Ideally I would like to see Ken Schrader or Kyle Petty win.But in reality I would have to say Jeff Gordon(breaking Earnhardt Seniors record) as the winner.
Matt Kenseth has a chance as the best Ford.
Then Johnson,Stewart,Junior also have a good chance.
And an outside chance to Edwards,Kahne,Busch(either).
But you can never leave out a Childress team at Talladega.

I'm going to pick Jeff Gordon to win the race Sunday.... he's on a roll !!! And to all of u cry babies.... Nascar does NOT give the races to Hendrick driver's ... they EARN the wins... quit your crying and give the guy's the credit they deserve for being some of the best in the sport.

Kurt Busch. I think he has the best shot this week. He had a strong car in the last plate race. I'm pulling for Bobby LaBonte & Denny Hamlin though.

DEI, HMS or RCR has to be the favorites at the plate tracks, but nascar really needs a suprise winner for once in the last 5yrs.

I think Jimmie Johnson will win it. He has been consistent at tracks he has won at. Hendrick has the power backing him and he has restrictor plate experience now. Plus, he has three teammates that he can draft with and not many rivals. If Gordon and Johnson are up front again it will be interesting to see Martinsville takes place again restrictor plate style.
