Anyone caught throwing crap at Gordon today after he won should be arrested and barred from any more Nascar events. Absolutely rediculous to treat the winner of a race in that fasion. Absolutely pathetic actions from the Alabama rednecks!

I can guarantee you that 98% of those throwing crap were Sr. fans or Junior Bandwagon fans who jumped ship when Dale died, and they just realized that Gordon had overtaken Earnhardt in career wins. Prove me wrong!!!

God forbid anyone would throw things at Jr. if he wins a race...that would be like throwing beer at royalty to Earhardt Nation. Bet they wouldn't make exscuses for that, would they? Total lack of class.

Throwing things on the track happens at alot of the races and it needs to stop. All those people are doing is making the sport look bad. I was glad to hear that people were getting arrested after the race today. They should be banned from attending ALL future Nascar events !!! Go Jeffie Go !!!

Hey, some of them were. There was actually extra police response just in case. And Dale Junior himself asked fans not to do it.

By the way, one of my cousins is an Alabama redneck...and a Gordon fan who is *thrilled*.

I think it was Jr fans doing all the throwing . They just like to cry when he dont win. I am not a gordon fan, but that was uncalled for. Just like when Sr died, they thru beer cans & bottles at Sterling Marlins house. Like it was his fault. Even sent him death threats. I know that all Earnhardt fans arnt that ignorant, but most are .

Any fool that thinks the crowd at Talledega is made up of Alabama natives needs to come on down to the track. I am responsibile for 5 motor homes and 9 tow behind campers that are rented from us and not one is from an Alabama native. There are over 200,000 people there. Most folks from here would just as soon not be anywhere near that track.

It became great interior the commencing up b/c Teresa's interest became interior the workplace, doing company, and Dale Sr managed the on-the-music racing area of the corporate. as far simply by fact the dating between Teresa and Jr, it became constantly made to look like they have been great at the same time, actuality is, they in no way fairly have been, and Jr has stated on the instant up, he has a mom who loves him very plenty and is there for him, and it is not Teresa, Teresa is his stepmom and it fairly is now company between the, yanno. i think of it fairly is unlucky, and that i might hate to make sure DEI fall that's what might happen simply by fact Truex isn't doing plenty on the music and an excellent style of the ppl who artwork at DEI are relatives contributors of JR, and if he leaves, of path they're going to too. yet on a similar time, I particularly much think of it would be proper, he hasn't carried out reliable ever simply by fact the strain between him and Teresa at DEI began which became some years in the past, yanno.

Alabama Red-necks-oh no my friend it's just like another guy said on here! If you have ever lived near or been to a race track you won't want to live near one that's for darn sure. Red-necks- People are passionate about the person they love to see race-that is if you like racing. It's just like any of other sports-everyone has someone They love -I loved Dale Earnhardt Sr. long before he was ever popular. I always loved him- He looks just like my brother, so when I see my Brother I see Big D. People have even ask my brother for his autograph back when Dale Sr, was alive. I love him and will forever love him. I can't hardly watch a race today and not look for Number 3- Racing has not been the same since he died. That's the greatest loss to me. u would have to be completely RETARDED not to know y they threw crap on the track at gordon...it's b/c the race was given to gordon they always are the owner of nascar favors the hendricks so OF COURSE they're going to win all the time....gordon got handed the race like everyother time....like how they tried running them around the track to get about 5 of them to run out of gas including jr... knowing tht jr. would have a good chance to come back in the 5 laps they would've and should've had win the caution came out the took it to 2 and ran them around about 5 or 6 times just so they would be afraid to run as hard as they would have and let gordon win like always

There's no place in any sport to throw things at competitors who win, and especially when the innocent people and children there could be seriously hurt from that.
