WHO THINKS PEOPLE IN HERE NEED TO GET A LIFE. SOMEONE MAKE ME UNDERSTAND WHAT DIFFERENCE IT MAKES WHAT KIND OF CAR PEOPLE DRIVE. I WANT TONY STEWART TO WIN, I DONT CARE WHAT HE DRIVES. HOW CAN YOU BE A FAN OF A MAKE AND MODEL OF CAR, THATS STUPID. I HAVE HIS HOME DEPOT ORANGE ALL OVER MY HOUSE, AND NOT ONE OF HIS ITEMS SAYS CHEVY, EXEPT THE DIECAST CARS, ITS ALL PRETTY MUCH SAYS HOME DEPOT, SO WHY DOES EVERYONE CARE SO MUCH? IF YOU ARE A FAN OF RACING, IT SHOULDNT MATTER. WE ALL GO TO THE RACES AND WATCH THE RACES, NOT TO SEE IF CHEVY WINS OR LOSES. TO SEE WHO AND I MEAN WHO, NOT WHAT WINS THE RACE AND THE CHAMPIONSHIP. I ROOT FOR TONY STEWART, THE PERSON, NOT WHETHER OR NOT HE DRIVES A CHEVY OR TOYOTA, OR A FREAKIN SPACESHIP. I JUST LOVE RACING.

If you answer this, be respectful. I don't want anyone to answer this and say how much of a redneck sport NASCAR is and that you don't like Dale Earnhardt. Just don't answer if you're going to be like that. I won't put up with rude or immature comments that I see on some of the other NASCAR posts.

For those of you that watched the movie on CMT last night or even went to a theater that showed it (I did both), I want to know what yall thought of it. I actually loved this movie. This has been the only movie I have ever watched that made me cry. It showed a part of Dale Earnhardt that many people and fans didn't get to see of him. He was the legend of NASCAR but a hard working man just like the rest of us, he never let fame get to his head, like so many of the drivers today have. I was never honored enough to see him race but I wish I had. I started watching NASCAR at the end of the 2001 season and have been a loyal fan of Mark Martin and Dale Earnhardt Jr ever since.

Tony Stewart, by far.

He is the Rosie O'donell of NASCAR as said by a certain commentator.

Does anyone else think it's stupid for people to be making such a big deal about Joe Gibbs Racing switching to Toyota?? I mean come on, why is it such a big deal? I just think that people are making something out of nothing. Who cares, I just like racing and I LOVE Tony Stewart. I dont care what he drives. He is the only driver I really like and I will stick with him no matter what.

Ok NASCAR is totally redneck and all that. But why should beer and driving go together? DUI anybody? Either they sending the wrong message or they are drunk.

Why is everyone so against Toyota?? Who cares where it is made. Baseball is the "all American" game yet there are tons of non-Americans playing for the teams we love. NASCAR fans have a stereotype of being red-necked southerners... Aren't they the ones who are known for being so closed minded to anything other then good ole boy America?? Who cares where a company is based... Does that change who an organization is? Shouldn't NASCAR fans step up and be the upstanding fans that they should be known for and welcome another competitor or is everyone happy being stereotyped under the confederate flag? Is everyone that afraid of a Toyota dominance?

Tony Stewart fan from the beginning and, until the end.

Joe Gibbs racing just announced that they will be racing Toyotas for 2008. Does anyone else think this is a crock of ****! I mean, how much more UNAMERICAN can you get....a TOYOTA! Do you think that Tony will stick around and drive that crap? I am torn because I love Tony, and will follow him wherever he chooses to go or stay, but I HATE TOYOTA!

After 14 years Coor's Light will no longer sponsor the #40 car. Could this be in preparation to sponsor Dale Jr. since he will not be sponsored by Budweiser? The timing just made me wonder.

How many saw the Dale Earnhardt show last night on CMT? i think that all of the people that put Nascar down so much need to watch this and find out what Nascar is really all about. Too bad we can't go back to those days when racing was racing.

this is pissing me off that SOME ccws and irl fans and owners Cant see that with out geting back together open wheel motorsport is stuffed. look at the nascar crowds and tv figures and look at the irl and ccws, im not a nascar fan but as an australian watching this it Annoys me that the cant put there differences behind them and have a indy car world series. you nay sayers might Disagree but if you want what is best for openwheel motorsport you would agree with me. the other option is the two series keeps going for a nother ten years untill the die hard supporters even say stuff it. thats my two cents like it or not.

Just to see the black # 3 going around the track makes me miss him more than ever. He was a true old school nascar driver, the stories were great, some I hadn't heard before but would have liked to have heard more of the personal stories, we will never know how many people lives he touched in one way or another. Missing the # 3 more than ever.

Grip is a very important aspect in very sport. I noticed , if tires like the Bridgestone Potenza offers extreme grip and durability , why not use the same material and technology for shoes? Tires are durable and they would make really good soles. What do you guys think?

Did you all think the rescue team that responded to Michael after his accident responded rather slowly considering the man was traped in a burning car?

I mean that first guy on the scene was just kinda looking in the car walking around it..............I would have been yanking his butt outta there. I realize he's a big guy but come on. Poor Mickey that must have been horrible for his wife to watch.

Like it or not, I for one don't agree with the choice that Gibbs made. But if you look at it this could probably be the best thing for Toyota, because Gibbs can win in anythin, Gibbs drove Pontiacs up until 2002 and in the time Gibbs brought 2 championships, one from Bobby Labonte in 2000, and the other in 2002 from Tony Stewert, and in 2003 Gibbs switched to Chevy, and had brought 1 more championship in 2005 form Tony Stewert. If Toyota gets there first win it'll come from Gibbs and if Toyota ever brings home a Championship it will come from Gibbs. Thats because the other Toyota teams such as Bill Davis Racing, Team Red Bull, and MWR don't have the resourses to put a Toyota in victory lane.
