Yeah i miss him more then ever. Just seeing him smile made me tear up. I was happy to see the interviews and friends speaking about him. I think the one thing that meant the most was Junior saying that its hard to stack up to Senior. I don't think anyone can ever stack up to him and I don't think anyone should. Other drivers may win more races or championships then Dale but in our hearts he will never be replaced or forgotten. He may not have been the best driver, father or man in the world but he was a man who never forgot his fans and never let us down.

Of course it did. When we go to a race, it's hard to not see the 3 in the race. There are his flags flying everywhere. There was another side to Dale Sr. that not a lot of people knew about. He did a lot for a lot of people. I've lost both of my parent's & it is not an easy thing to go thru. I can't imagine how Junior must of felt. I remember watching that race & Junior jumping out of his car & running across the track to his Dad's car screaming--How's my Daddy? I thought the movie was very well done. Like him or not, He was NASCAR!! Have any of ya'll figured out what drives Junior & why family & friends are so important to him yet?? Don't if anyone noticed, but certain thing's Junior says, he sounds just like his Dad.

Growing up i was a Gordon fan, more or less to spite people in family and i came to realize who great a man, father and racer he was the year before he died. i was just becoming a fan of his and then he was no more. Then the movie which took you from sheer happiness (the winning of the 500) right to his death. That was crushing, i miss him as much as the Febuary reading Time with his cover on it.

Great show. I'll admit I generally loathed his style (and besides, I rooted for Gordon and DW), but you can't help but admire, or least respect his hard work, his passion and the fact he really had a big heart.
He was truly one of a kind. To those who are tired of hearing about him, remember there are many fans who never got to see him alive.

It was the first time I got to glimpse into the life of the Intimidator. I got into racing in 2004 so I don't know how his fans truley feel, but after watching that, at least I think I can grasp the heartach they must feel.
As a Jr fan it was fun seeing him as a kid, but it broke my heart to see him struggle.

Watching movies like that is kinda weird...when you know the person's dead, yet there his is on screen. Of course, that's just me. Wish Dale was still here.

It was very strange. Seeing him like that made it still so hard to believe he is gone. I do miss him very much, it is simply not the same.
