If you answer this, be respectful. I don't want anyone to answer this and say how much of a redneck sport NASCAR is and that you don't like Dale Earnhardt. Just don't answer if you're going to be like that. I won't put up with rude or immature comments that I see on some of the other NASCAR posts.
For those of you that watched the movie on CMT last night or even went to a theater that showed it (I did both), I want to know what yall thought of it. I actually loved this movie. This has been the only movie I have ever watched that made me cry. It showed a part of Dale Earnhardt that many people and fans didn't get to see of him. He was the legend of NASCAR but a hard working man just like the rest of us, he never let fame get to his head, like so many of the drivers today have. I was never honored enough to see him race but I wish I had. I started watching NASCAR at the end of the 2001 season and have been a loyal fan of Mark Martin and Dale Earnhardt Jr ever since.

Felipe B if you don't like NASCAR, then don't post. I can't stand people like you who come on to this category and put down a sport millions of people enjoy and love.

My daughter and I watched and I must say that it is the only movie of Dale Sr. that depicted him just the way he really was. Very humble, an every day man and a real Hero to the working class man!!!!!!
Jr. did have a rough childhood and yes Sr. wasn't a good father when he was young, so what though there are alot of parents out there who weren't the greatest but grew up to realize what they were missing out on.
I loved watching him and Darrell Waltrip together too and what Rick Hendrick said about him when he first started racing...Very funny!!!!
We also cried so don't feel like the only one!!!!!!
GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!

This was an extremely good movie. I really enjoyed watching it. You never realize how much impact someone can have on peoples life's until you watch a movie like this. I felt sorry for Dale Jr because he wanted so much to be apart of his dads life and when he finally started racing he was more apart of his life than ever. Its just a shame that Theresa wouldn't let Dale Jr do with the company as he wanted to. But who knows maybe there is a reason for everything, only time will tell. I about cried when Dale Sr died. It was the last lap at Daytona and when Jr was on the first lap of the next wreck everyone probably oh no not again. NASCAR is trying to make the races a lot safer now. Hats off to them.

My very first race was the 2001 Daytona 500 or ( Winston 500 ) w/e. I also liked Dale Jr and Sr. before the wreck, I loved their pant schemes, It was a sad 1st race to say the least
As far as the move, 4 Clean Wheels ( nascar humor, 4 stars out of 4 )

I LOVED that movie. I have to tell you I have never followed racing..... until I saw this movie. I knew of Dale Earnhardt and watched all of the news about his death. This movie not only changed the way I felt about the sport of racing. It changed my perception of race car drivers. The line that engaged me and made me keep watching was when Dale spoke of his father and said he patterened himself after him. I was so inspired by the passion he had for his father and you could hear a child like love in his voice. Very Intriguing movie that takes you on a very emotional journey into the very private places of Dale Earnhardt's heart. We have all made our mistakes, with our children, with our lives. Bad choices, bad decisions.
He learned from his mistakes and was a better person because of those mistakes. He loved his family, he loved his sport and he was passionate about both...

Good movie brought back memories that show us what we miss the most about the sport now that Dale is gone and how bad it is getting from the control of the France family. I did hate to see the shot of a young Jr on the hood in victory lane, he seemed to be dying to have his dads attention when you saw the Williams boy get a lot of attention, that was troubling

That movie was really true and I think it really describe him and shows what he did and went through in his life. When he died it completely devistated me cuz I really loved to see him race and be proud of his son Dale Jr. Dale Sr. is still my favorite driver even though he's gone as well as his son Dale Jr.! That movie made me cry in certain spots.

I really liked it. It put a lot of perspective on a lot of things about him which I guess I already knew but had not thought of in a while. I thought Theresa came off a bit emotionless and I thought Junior was so emotional it was hard for him to contribute. I liked Taylor's forthright manner talking about her dad. Several parts were real tear jerkers for sure.
