Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s step mom took his fathers company from him and is now taking his personal number the “8”. She tried to extort money for the number and now is keeping it for vengeance. Check the facts.

The f1 points system is clearly flawed at the moment espiecially since the top teams are so dominant it means there are normally only 2 pts positions left after Mclaren/ferrar/bmw have dont their thing of being fast and reliable.

this means the drivers outside the points have absolutley no reason to bother racing because finishing 9th is the same as finishing 20th - you get nothing. If the drivers had a small number of points to gain for every position a la Nascar or most positions like Moto GP it would encourage more passing in the positions outside the points. It also would sho who the better drivers are. Barrichello is clearly better than Albers but because neither have points they look equally crap.

Also there should be prize money(i know there is some but i mean reward for race positon). This way drivers, espiecially ones with limited sponsorship, would really have something to fight for and you will fight like hell if it means an extra €40000 in your pocket.

I just read this question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkaV_xAis_1OxPwefKPUWcfsy6IX?qid=20070828072822AAjF6i0&show=7#profile-info-IRReETboaa

And my question is WTF is wrong with those who said the present? How could anyone prefer f1 of the present over the past?I can only assume everyone who said they prefer present day f1 is quite young.Espiecially robert268...F1 was boring and easy in the past? Are you insane?1500bhp cars with no driver aids, manual gears, zero safety and very little aero grip was easier to handle?

ive been following it for a long time and anyone i know that used to love it now is barely able to sit through a whole race anymore.

Read that summary and watch these videos and tell me how it is better these days.

Since very often the best team in american sports does not win the cup/league/whatever just because of the playoffs? And now Nascar is the same because of the chase. Gordon is clearly the best this year and there is a huge chance he could end up with no reward thanks to the chase. Do you think thats right that he(or any other seasons overall best performer) sacrifices his winning for our entertainment?

This article roused my interest in this question.

Do you think it is NASCAR stopping the transfer of the #38 from RCR to HMS, or just negotiations? Also, do you really think it's fair to take the #38 from Guililand? I don't think so. They need to choose a number that is not currently in use, in my opinion.

Not that long ago was it? Just shows how easy it is to fall behind in Cup racing. Where's Greg Biffle been hiding all year? Man, I thought he'd show up to race at least a few times in '07. At least Edwards and Kenseth are still running well.
